Join LMTA: The Association is open to music teachers in any field. To join on line, access the Music Teachers National Association website www.MTNA.org. LMTA Music Outreach Program: Music scholarships are awarded to low income or at risk students who are dedicated to music study, but have no other means to afford music lessons. Pianos, other instruments and sheet music may be provided. LMTA teachers also provide community outreach performances in schools, hospitals, nursing homes and other facilities. All teachers are Professional members of LMTA and have undergone background checks. Volunteers are needed to transport students to and from lessons and assist with office and accounting procedures. LMTA requests monetary donations, pianos and other instruments and sheet music in good condition. Donations may be tax deductible. Contact wmandigo@microlnk.com.
