M.U.S.I.C (Music for UnderServed Interested Children)

The M.U.S.I.C. (Music for UnderServed Interested Children) Endowment was established through the Lincoln Community Foundation for the benefit of the LMTA Music Outreach Program on August 31, 2011 when Charter Members of our new Endowment Society signed the official contract at our luncheon at the Governor's Mansion.

Members of LMTA and the Community can now support the Music Outreach Program by contributing to our newly established M.U.S.I.C. (Music for UnderServed Interested Children) Endowment Fund.  An anonymous donor has pledged to match monetary donations up to $5,000 through December.  The community’s $5000 plus the donor’s $5000 will enable the fund to reach the minimum of $10,000 that we need for the fund to become fully invested and begin disbursing annual grants to the Music Outreach Program. Income from the Endowment will be used to fund the LMTA Music Outreach Program for the benefit of school-aged children who desire to pursue music study. LMTA believes that students who receive mentoring in the form of lessons will eventually become good citizens and philanthropists.
