Composition Winners to perform Sunday

The winners of the LMTA Carol Klose Memorial Composition Contest will perform their

compositions in a recital at 5 p.m. Sunday, April 19 at Grace Evangelical Lutheran

Church, 2225 Washington St. The recital is free and open to the public.

The LMTA Composition Contest is a bi-annual event. This year’s event was named in

honor of Hal Leonard Composer Carol Klose who was the commissioned composer for

the 2014 LMTA Extravaganza. Klose lost her battle with cancer before she could finish

her composition and anonymous composers finished her piece for the event.
