Post date: May 7, 2015 6:41:56 PM

From NOW to midnight May 27th an anonymous donor will match your contribution to the LMTA Music Outreach Program through the Lincoln Community Foundation up to $1,000! ALL donations will count towards our total amount raised for Give to Lincoln Day and will help us earn a larger percentage of the matching funds ($300,000 to be divided among all charities participating in Give to Lincoln Day based on their percentage of the total amount raised.)

Go to http://givetolincoln.razoo.com/…/Lincoln-Music-Teachers-Ass… and click on the green button to Donate! Donations can be made on-line with any credit card or paypal account (minimum of $10)and will be processed as soon as you click (instead of being delayed until May 28th, the official Give to Lincoln Day).

Once again, the Lincoln Community Foundation will be hosting hourly drawings to give one lucky donor's nonprofit a $300 additional gift sponsored by West Gate Bank. So if you'd like, donate as many $10 on-line gifts per hour on May 28th as you can to increase your odds of winning more money for LMTA!

If you'd rather donate by cash or check, just make sure to deliver any amounts collected by you or your studio to the Lincoln Community Foundation (215 Centennial Mall South) between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm on May 28th. (Checks payable to Lincoln Community Foundation, dated 5/28/15, memo line: LMTA/MOP)

To celebrate a successful day of giving, what better way than to go see some cool cars at the Kuck Motorsports Museum? (Suggested donation to enter is $30).Doors are open from 5 pm to 8 pm and computers, devices, and baskets will be available for additional donations through LCF. There will be music, food and great cars.

Will you help LMTA-MOP reach their goals to expand the Music Outreach Program to fund 50 students? You can donate right now and help LMTA earn matching moneys from the Lincoln Community Foundation AND an anonymous donor! Make your donation count today!

note: all funds collected will be used by LMTA's Music Outreach Program to help pay for lessons for students whose families qualify for financial aid at their schools. The Music Outreach Program provides lessons, instruments, tuning and care of instruments, music, and other music supplies to these families for a minimal monthly payment while still paying a reasonable lesson fee to teachers who teach the students. Funds are raised through grants, donations, and fundraisers as well as business partners such as Dietze Music, cgsmusic, Marilyn Wallin, and a host of piano tuners.
