First Meeting of the Year - Workshop to featuring Carol Klose

Post date: Aug 8, 2012 9:04:21 PM

This should be another great start to our year of LMTA offerings! Our first meeting/workshop will be held on September 8 at Calvary Lutheran from 10:00 to 11:45. Carol Klose, a Hal Leonard composer from the Milwaukee area will be in Lincoln to present a Composition Workshop to us. She will be featured in a Publisher's Showcase at Dietze Music on Friday, September 7 with registration beginning at 9:00 and the session ending around noon. Dietze's participation has been key in making this event happen for LMTA. Please thank Ric Ricker in particular for all they have done to sponsor this. Music purchases during this event would be another great way to express our thanks, as well. Special thanks go to Debra Heald for initiating this idea of inviting Carol and extending the invitation to her from the LMTA Board, and to Svetlana Yashirin for her efforts and creativity in putting all the details together for us.

There will be additional information coming out closer to the dates. A luncheon will follow our workshop on Saturday. Mark your calendar for this very special workshop and invite any teachers who don't know about LMTA. See you in September!
