Kason Fiedler to play a benefit for LMTA Music Outreach

Kason Fiedler will perform a recital for the benefit of the Lincoln Music Teachers Association Music Outreach Program [LMTA-MOP] at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, May 19, Engel Hall at Union College, 4811 48^th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska. The recital is open to the public. A free will offering will be taken at the door to benefit LMTA-MOP which provides low-cost music lessons, instruments and their upkeep, and free sheet music to students who would not otherwise afford music lessons.

Fiedler has received piano lessons from Dr. Marina Fabrikant through LMTA-MOP and is now “paying it forward” by fundraising for the Lincoln Music Teachers Association for Give to Lincoln Day. While studying with Dr. Fabrikant, he has consistently received Superior ratings in piano performance, Theory and Ear Training at Nebraska Music Teachers Association [NMTA] Festivals, and in 2016, he won second place in the NMTA State Senior Piano Division Competition. Fiedler is now studying music at the University of Nebraska with a tuba emphasis.
