LMTA Composition Student Advances to the MTNA Finals

Braydon Vaclav Fujan has been playing piano for four years. “The Three Enamigos” is Braydon’s first official composition which was a National Finalist in the Music Teachers National Associational (MTNA) Composition Competition, Elementary Level. He has auditioned for the Southwest Iowa Music Teachers Association the last three years. He was named the 2018 Level A District Auditions Winner and earned an Honorable Mention at the State Auditions. Braydon was the Level B Alternate Winner for SWIMTA Districts in 2019 and the Level B winner in 2020. Braydon has also earned Superior ratings for two consecutive years for both piano performance and theory in the Federation Auditions.

Braydon is now learning how to play trombone. He loves school, swimming, chess, and solving cube puzzles. He enjoys spending time with his parents, Chris and Allyn, as well as his little sister Evynn. He is a second generation student in the Nancy L. Schoen Music Studio in Lincoln, Nebraska.
