LMTA Plans Virtual Kick Off Workshop

September 18 Virtual Kickoff - Be our guest!

The Lincoln Music Teachers Association will start the new year with a virtual kickoff at 10:00 am, Friday, September 18. The event is entitled "A Cup of Music: Exploring MTNA Virtual Conference Workshops and Webinars." This meeting will take place via Zoom, so brew your favorite cup of joe and sit down with teachers from around Lincoln as we explore the growing number of online resources our organization has to offer. From MTNA conference workshops on the latest musical apps, to webinars on technique and musicianship, there's something for everyone!

After an initial meet-and-greet, you will have the opportunity to enter into Zoom Breakout Rooms divided by interest. From there you will be able to watch a webinar together and have a follow-up discussion with your fellow teachers, all from the comfort of your home or studio!

LMTA provides numerous activities and performance opportunities for members and their students. They also sponsor the award-winning LMTA Music Outreach Program (LMTA-MOP) which provides low-cost lessons with an LMTA Teacher for up to 50 children whose families can document need. In addition to lessons, students are provided with free instruments and their upkeep, free music scores, and performance opportunities.”
