LMTA Bookfair & Student Performance Event 10/7

The Music Outreach Program is once again doing the Barnes & Noble Book Fair on Sunday, October 7. Any purchase made at the 52nd & O St. store that day will qualify for a percentage of sales given as a donation to the M.U.S.I.C Endowment Fund if LMTA is identified at check-out. We are asking you to promote this in your studios. Online sales also qualify October 7-12, when using our Book Fair Code: 10839991.

We will have students performing during the afternoon, 1-5:00 pm. Most of the time is filled, but if you have students who would like to perform, please contact me, and we will try to have a spot for you. If needed, we can expand the hours for performance. The Book Fair goes all day, 10:00 am - 9:00 pm, so sales during any of those hours will qualify when LMTA is designated. Books, CDs, games, and cafe all are included, and 5% of Nook sales will be donated as well. Gift cards and magazines do not qualify for the book fair.

I have attached 3 documents for your use in your studio, or posting at church, school, or anyplace that might be visible. Please copy the sheet of coupons to pass out to student families, friends, relatives,etc. The more we spread the news, the more money is donated to the M.U.S.I.C Endowment. Last year we received over $500, and hope to do at least that much this year, as well. You may also send e-mails, post on your facebook timeline, etc. to let friends and relatives who live away from Lincoln know about the online code and dates.
