Congratulations to the Lincoln Music Teachers Association for their accomplishments and recognition as the 2017 Music Teachers National Association Local Association of the Year!
On behalf of MTNA President Rebecca Grooms Johnson and the Board of Directors, it is my pleasure to inform you that the Lincoln Music Teachers Association has been selected as the 2017 MTNA Local Association of the Year. Your selection recognizes the significant accomplishments and important work of the Lincoln Music Teachers Association for Nebraska MTA, MTNA, and the music teaching profession. Your local and its membership exemplify the very best in MTNA through your activities, participation in state and national programs, and membership growth.
Lincoln Music Teachers Association will be recognized at the MTNA National Conference in Baltimore, Maryland during the Annual Business Meeting of the Association. At the presentation, President Johnson will present the Lincoln MTA a check in the amount of $1,000 in recognition of its accomplishments.
