Win a hand carved D flute made by George Tortorelli of Medicine Wind Flutes

Drawing Details

The Phantom of the Opera is a joint event with Abendmusik, the Ross Media Arts Center, and the Lincoln Chapter of the American Guild of Organists. Those who fulfill the following requirements will be entered into a drawing to receive a donated D bamboo flute made by George Tortorelli of Medicine Wind flutes. George grows his own bamboo in Florida that he crafts into beautiful flutes.


To qualify for the drawing, you must:

1) Be a member or student of a member of the Lincoln Music Teachers Association.


2) Donate $1 or more to the LMTA Music Outreach Program during the month of October at www.lmta.info/music-outreach-program/


3) Watch the presentation of the Silent Film Phantom of the Opera on YouTube by Abendmusik after it premieres with live organ accompaniment by Tom Trenney, First-Plymouth Minister of Music and Associate Professor of Music at Nebraska Wesleyan University. The film will be presented on Abendmusik’s website www.abendmusik.org and their Facebook page www.facebook.com/abendmusik


4) Email Brent Shaw organman77@gmail.com to let him know that you have made a donation, and watched the film.


The winner will be announced at the end of the first week of November.
